Verified identity and business
UK-registered business or sole trader with proof of ID, address and, where relevant, Companies House record.
Public liability insurance
Current public liability cover of at least £2 million, with certificate on file and renewal tracked.
Trade qualifications
Relevant certifications for regulated work: Gas Safe, NICEIC or equivalent, Part P, water regulations, and CSCS where required.
Verifiable references
At least three recent client references we can contact, plus a portfolio of completed projects with photographs.
Workmanship standards
Willingness to stand behind your work with a minimum twelve-month workmanship guarantee on projects delivered through TradeTrust.
Professional conduct
Clean complaints history, respectful communication with homeowners, and a track record of finishing what you start.

How many leads will I get?+
It depends on your trade, region and capacity. We would rather send you fewer, well-matched briefs than flood your inbox with jobs that do not fit.
Do I compete against other trades on the same job?+
No. Homeowners receive a small, curated shortlist rather than an open auction, so you are quoting on your merits, not racing to the lowest number.
What if a dispute arises with a homeowner?+
We act as an independent point of contact. Most issues are resolved quickly through a conversation. Serious matters are handled in line with our published dispute process.
